Second Annual Charity 250 Go Kart Race!!
(Plainwell, Mi)
The Thunder Dome was packed with drivers from three states to compete in the 2nd Annual "Bad Boy's"
Charity Go-Kart race in Angola, In. The defending champions the Kalamazoo Speedway were on hand to
defend their tittle with a much stiffer field drivers than last year. With nine teams fielding the
starting grid with the Spartan Speedway, Angola Motor Speedway, Kalamazoo Speedway, and Sandusky
Speedway all represented. The event saw three teams stay on the lead lap at the halfway mark of
the event that saw Everage Motor Sports, Besgrove Racing, and Jasper Case Racing.
The second half saw Everage Motor Sports dominate in to the last session with a full lap lead on the
field going into the final segment which was made 75 laps. Craig Everage was selected by his team to
wheel the car for the final 75 laps. Craig was hanging back the first half the race just staying on
the lead lap of the last segment before making his move through the field before he had a run with
Zack Cook just like a Saturday night special there was some crashing and banging that saw Zack
spin Craig on the back stretch. The yellow wasn't thrown and Craig still kept it on the lead lap
however the leaders were trying to run him down, but Everage caught Cook and spun him out. The yellow
flew and both drivers were warned they would be sent to the pits if it happened again. Craig was able
to race up to the front to finish second in this segment and pic up the overall win for his team completing
710 laps in three hours. This is the official results from the event after going over all the score sheets.
